VOLUNTEERS – HOW TO JOIN
For The Love Of Scrubs Birmingham are always on the lookout for keen volunteers and welcome ANYONE from all walks of life who wish to support our keyworkers.
If you can SEW join our ‘Sewciety’ ….
In order to help us stitch for our NHS, all you will need to get you going is a sewing machine along with the usual supplies (threads, bobbin’s, Scissors etc) and a willing set of hands!
A basic level or understanding of sewing is good however an understanding of how your machine works is even better for our beginners and new starters.
All fabric will be provided in the form of pre-cuts. How simple is that!
An over locker is NOT essential for any of our projects so please don’t worry if you don’t have one.

Please include your full name, Address (for the purpose of delivering packs to you), contact number, and a small synopsis of your level of sewing abilities.
- Join our Facebook group if you are on social media. This isn’t imperative so don’t panic if social media isn’t for you
HUB machines are also available* for loan to our sewing angels (terms apply)*
I’M A KEY WORKER IN NEED OF SUPPORT
If you are a keyworkers working within a hospital, GP practice, Care home or School who is need of support with items please complete the below contact form.
A member of our team will be in touch reference to the items that you require.
If you are a key worker who’s job falls outside of the above list however feel as though we can help please still Get In Touch.
